What a term!

29 July 2013

Phew! What a scorcher of a term our two Inspiration and Echo choirs have had this summer.

Inspiration thrilled their audiences with the second instalment of big Broadway show tunes in ‘Do You Hear The People Sing’. Echo Newcastle had them dancing in the aisles with ‘Summer Nights’ and in Leeds ‘The Great American Songbook’ raised the roof.

So much effort – almost superhuman on the part of Andy and Mark – and fantastic teamwork from everyone involved meant the singing year ended on a high, with the standard of music and the level of enjoyment given to our audiences as brilliant as ever. Roll on September – with more of the fun and friendship we all so enjoy with our choirs – and yes, even more rewarding hard work! A rest for the summer is good, but when the hour comes we'll get back into it heart and soul, as keen as mustard to do it all over again.

Happy summer – and keep singing, if only in the shower!!
