Opportunities to sing with Inspiration in 2019

There are plenty of opportunities to sing with Inspiration in 2019 in all of our regions – Leeds, Newcastle and Southampton.

In each region we’ll be performing ‘Songs Of Power’, a recreation of our very first concert from 10 years ago, with choral blockbusters such as ‘Bridge Over Troubled Water’, ‘O Fortuna’ and the ‘Hallelujah Chorus’, as well as beautiful unaccompanied gems, ‘Fields Of Gold’ and ‘Goodnight, My Angel’.

You don't have to have any singing experience or be able to read music to join Inspiration, and you will receive a rehearsal CD/MP3s with all your music on. We just ask that you are able to commit a certain amount of your time outside of rehearsals to ensure you are 'off book’ for the concert.

Inspiration Southampton

Inspiration Southampton’s weekly rehearsals are held between 7.15pm and 9.30pm every Wednesday, starting 1 May 2019 at Richard Taunton Sixth Form College.

The concert will take place on 628 July at O2 Guildhall Southampton and once again we will be join by the fabulous Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra.

If you would like to take part, all you need to do is download in the application form below and send it off along with your performance fee of £100.

If you are you tempted to join Inspiration Southampton but would like to try a rehearsal before you commit, no problem. Our first rehearsal on Wednesday 1 May is a free open rehearsal. Just come along at 7.15pm to Richard Taunton Sixth Form College, give it a go and if you like it, you can sign up for the term!

Inspiration Leeds

Inspiration Leeds’s weekly rehearsals are held between 7.30pm and 9.30pm every Monday, starting 6 May 2019 at St Andrew’s Church, Pudsey.

The concert will take place on 21 July at Royal Hall, Harrogate.

If you would like to take part, all you need to do is download in the application form below and send it off along with your performance fee of £90.

If you are tempted to join Inspiration Leeds but would like to try a rehearsal before you commit, no problem. Please get in touch via our contact form and we may be able to arrange for you to come to the first rehearsal to ‘try before you buy’.

Inspiration Newcastle

Inspiration Newcastle’s weekly rehearsals are held between 7.30pm and 9.30pm every Wednesday, starting 8 May 2019 at Trinity Church, Gosforth.

The concert will take place on 14 July at Sage Gateshead and once again we will be join by the fabulous Royal Northern Sinfonia.
